Stann Grater combines a life long passion for fly fishing and 23 years as professional chef and food service consultant to bring you Solutions for the Knife Fork and Fly Rod.

Because of his experience and expertice, Stann is in damand internationally as a food service consultant to the worlds best fishing and hunting lodges as well as a fly casting insturctor and coach.

Stann has worked as the International Fly Fishing Instructor for the Orvis Company since 1996. He has been teaching fly fishing in the Orvis Fly Fishing Schools located in Coeur d' Alene, ID. Manchester, VT. Barnsley Garndes in Adairsville, GA. for 12 years.

In July 2006 and 2007, Stann assisted the Government of the Bahamas with the Orvis Bahamas Certified Guide Program.

Stann as been a licensed and insured guide in the State of Washington since 1996 and guides the local waters in and around his home town of Spokane, Washington.

Stann earned his Culinary Arts Degree in 1969 and spent 23 years in the restaurant and food service consulting business. He was on the design and opening team for 12 restaurants ranging from family operations to specialty seafood and fine dining establishments throughout the western US.

The Chef Consulting Services have taken Stann to some of the worlds best fishing and hunting lodges in the world.
